Candidate should have a mechanical drafting degree or equivalent work experience to substitute. A minimum of 1 year of drafting experience must be possessed by all candidates applying for this position in order to be considered. Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D software package is mandatory as well as working experience with AutoCAD. Candidate must be able to produce structural steel fabrication and sheet metal mechanical fabrication prints from 3D models. In addition drafter will create bills of materials, weldment and assembly drawings. In this position you will create mechanical drawings and bills of material for released manufacturing packages. This candidate will be responsible for managing all drafting functions from a 3D model including releasing drawings to a CNC operator and or to the shop fabrication facility for each project.
